Friday nights in Chicago are up for grabs right now. There are a plethora of new sets popping up on the south side of the city! Michael ‘Black Cool’ Thornton and Dana Scott-White, who together are known as Black & White Inc., have hosted several successful Saturday sets at the beautiful Asian restaurant ‘A.Fusion’ and they have now added a First Friday set there.

A.Fusion is a Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Hibachi grill located in Matteson, IL. The restaurant itself is impressive with a lavish bar at its center. Black & White Inc., together with A.Fusion set out to impress its guests with its lavish buffet that is included with the price of admission. The spot has 2 dance floors - one main floor and another to hold an overflow of steppers.

Three birthday celebrations were in full effect on Friday night. Audra and Richard, who are a couple steppin in the World’s Largest Steppers Contest in September, celebrated their birthday together, as did newlywed Pam Rose-Dailey.

DJ Calvin was spinnin on Friday night and it was cool to see several DJ’s show up to support, including DJ Cross and DJ Eric E.T. Taylor. There were many Heavy Hitters out but what stood out were the out-of-towners that came to get it in. Detroit represented with Feo, Sherry, Drew and Keesha then Tamika Conwell Nash and Lisa Bessie from the ATL were in town as well.

Before you knew it was 2:00am with another hour of partying still ahead of us at A.Fusion. It was a great night of good food, good fun and good company with Black & White Inc. ChiStepper was in the building and we have pix in the gallery!
