 Patrick Newson and Beverly Jones ChiStepper was on hand at Mr. G's last night to catch the qualifying performance of Patrick Newson and Beverly Jones in the World's Largest Steppers Contest prelim's "Original Old Skool Category". I must say, I was both surprised and pleased to see them compete. The joy in watching them take the floor was not only do to the fact that I like how they dance, but also the fact that Patrick answered my challenge. I think Patrick and Beverly have a lot of swag and was disappointed to see a young duo retire with so much potential. While I don't know if my comments spurred him toward competing, he acknowledged that he was aware of them. Considering the fact that they possess an old skool flavor and they always come to the contest dressed fresh to death, they have a great chance in this year's competition.
